KQ6XA Selcall

Call KQ6XA on HF SSB with Selcall:
This webpage enables any ham operator with an HF transceiver and a
computer to call the KQ6XA station on HF SSB.

Instructions:
Tune your HF SSB transceiver to
14342.5 kHz USB Day
3996.0 kHz USB Night

1. Hold your transceiver's microphone up to your computer's speaker.
2. Simultaneously press PTT and click on the Selcall:

CLICK HERE to Call KQ6XA (RealAudio format) by HF Selcall
or
CLICK HERE to Call KQ6XA (WAV format) by HF Selcall

...thus you are playing the Selcall over the air.
3. Release the PTT when the Selcall audio stops.
4. Listen for the response on the air.
5. After the QSO, transmit your station's callsign on USB voice.

My ham radio station KQ6XA is usually on the air 24-hours with HF Selcall.

For the purpose of testing, you are invited to try a Selcall to my station,
and it will automatically transpond with several beeps on the air.
It is similar to calling me on the phone... I will usually answer on
USB voice if I am available to respond; however, please do not call
it repeatedly once you have heard the transponder beeps.
